We believe digital privacy is a fundamental right, not a premium feature. Filarr was born out of frustration with cloud storage services that scan, analyze, and monetize their users’ files. Our goal: build a file manager as powerful as proprietary solutions, but one that genuinely respects the privacy of your data.
Open source by conviction
Filarr is fully open source under the AGPLv3 license. We believe security through obscurity is an illusion. When it comes to protecting your data, you should be able to verify every single line of code. Our codebase is public, auditable, and open to community contributions.
